Ege Soyuer, known for his digital storytelling, lends his vision to this inspiring narrative for Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Through kinetic animation, the brand’s signature geometric look becomes elevated in a modern yet professional way. To highlight the center’s uniquely tailored treatment techniques, metaphoric shapes merge with dynamic lighting effects for a result that is both warm and impactful.
For New York-based Ege, composition has always been key. Originally he went to school to be a mechanical engineer because he was attracted to the skill, logic, and precision required. He ended up switching to study design, but it shaped how he looks at composition, form, function, and colour.
There is a striking simplicity to Ege’s work, honed from his experience as a motion graphic artist at Google Creative Lab and as an art director at Buck. Ege is looking to tell stories of a slightly longer scale. “With motion graphics, there’s this idea that you can do anything, even if it’s figuring out hundreds of elegant ways to show how information flows from a phone to a computer screen,” he says.
