Hornet Director Clim helped show Facebook users the ropes with this collection of playful how-to videos. “We wanted to infuse the projects with fun concepts that people would really connect with, while making sure to not distract from Facebook’s main message,” commented Clim.

A creative collaboration between Hornet and the Facebook Factory, the tutorials utilize live action, cel animation and 2D character and design components to communicate a tangible sensibility to the spots.

“The middle ground was the structure,” said Clim. “Simplicity was one of the main characteristics we tried to achieve, and once we nailed down the pattern it we could identify the places for a little entertainment.” An enjoyable collaboration between everyone involved.
